Every technique are
crucial to the success of online business. At the beginning of my 1st
site (online toy store), we use plenty of time to get nice product photo
but after that product trend is changed, we have to replace new
product. Again, we need to get another nice photo, it took most of our
time in toys shop website.
Furthermore, we need to have a nice
home page layout. I don't know of html coding and graphic software very
much, I went through all notes and tutorials from eOneNet. After I
re-layout the home page, I still not satisfy when I compared with other
toy store website. Usually there is a flash image to show series of
products in single frame. That homepage presentation makes it more rich
look, more active and attractive. I send mails to all my friends for
help.....few days later, I got software from my friend which can combine
series of JPEG photo into a flash-like GIF image, I just spend 10
minutes to use and I already can made the first GIF file contain 4
images of die-cast model car. Eventually I spent 3 weeks to re-layout
the homepage with all html code plus GIF images.
To take account
of traffic, eOneNet help me to apply and install stat counter code into
my website. That is very useful for me to know the traffic stat. GIPHplayer At that
moment, what I need to do is to increase website traffic, then I
remembered at eOneNet lesson I took, one of presentation from post
eOneNet student, use blog to generate traffic to website is one of
effective and priceless way. So I started a blog at blogger.com, and I
update my blog weekly. Few days later, I found traffic is very depending
on how frequent I update the blog. After that I updated the blog, I got
some traffic to website through blog.
